The Ray Aquatic Ecology & Biogeochemistry Lab is housed in the School of Marine Science & Policy at the University of Delaware.

Our lab studies cycles of elements like nitrogen and carbon across systems and scales. We are particularly interested in understanding biogeochemical feedbacks in response to change in ecosystems, such as the introduction of aquaculture or floating photovoltaics, overfishing or restoration of lost populations, as well as basic physical, chemical, and biological controls on biogeochemical processes.
